About KL’s Biostatistics Blog

The blog is maintained by the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science at Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences. We address statistical questions that frequently arise in medical research and analyse them on the basis of an example data set with the help of Gnu R.

The first part of each posting contains a solution to the addressed statistical problem implemented in Gnu R and includes both explanatory comments and Gnu R code used to implement the statistical analysis. In the second part, the Gnu R toolboxes used to solve the statistical problem are briefly presented. The third part contains information on the theoretical basis of the statistical methods used.
